If you are a fan of mahjong, the tile matching single player computer game, then you are probably going to like Bloxx It, a game that is advertised by Alawar Entertainment, the game’s publisher, as a “mahjongg-based game with the elements of arcade,” a game that has “spectacular graphics and good sense of humor” that “make the game incredibly dynamic and impossible to pass.”

As is the case with mahjong, the goal is to match tiles and remove them from the board. Click on a tile, then click on a matching tile and both of them will be removed from the game. You have a snake; click a tile and when you click the second tile the snake will eat both of them. The two tiles must not be blocked by other tiles; if they are, the snake will not be able to eat them.

In the game you have to play against the clock. The faster you clear the board, the more points you will earn. You lose if you run out of time.

The game provides support for keyboard shortcuts:
H (hint) – shows the next possible move. Please note that you will lose points.
R (restart) – restart the current level. Please note that you will lose one life if you restart the level.
Esc – exit the game.
Tab – change background music.

You can play Bloxx It in full screen, but if you don’t like to play it in full screen, you can also play it in a window. To play it you have to download and install it on your Windows-powered computer first. You need to know that the download weighs in at 9.1MB. You must also know that you cannot select the directory where the game will be installed, that you during the installation process you are asked to change your homepage and search provider to Ask.com, and that you are asked to install Game Box, a catalog of all the games Alawar Entertainment has to offer. You also need to know that an Alawar Games shortcut will be created without your permission.

After Bloxx It is installed on your computer, you can play the game free of charge for a trial period of one hour. After that trial period is over, you will have to get a license to keep playing the game.
